The photography section of the Department, which is functioning from the year 1962, has photographed various temples, sculptures, murals and other antiques. The various stages of excavations and all the excavated sites have been photographed.
There are 45,000 valuable negatives available. The conservation work of monuments has also been
photographed and documented. Some of the photographs are being offered for sale to public and scholars.
