Publications of the Department including GOML&RC

The departmental press established exclusively for bringing out books on epigraphy. The Department has 203 publications to its credit. A quarterly journal "Kalvettu" is also being printed here. So far 65 issues have been published. 

The publications of the Government Oriental Manuscripts Library and Research Centre are also printed in the Department press.

Terms & Conditions - Sale of Books

• Publications of the Department of Archaeology, Government of Tamil Nadu are supplied on receipt of full cost by Demand draft (INR) or by M.O. in favour  of Assistant Accounts Officer, Department of Archaeology, Chennai - 600 008, Tamil Nadu, India, excluding the charges for packing, forwarding and post etc.

• Mode of despatch. i.e., ordinary/registered parcel/by Sea-mail/ Air-mail to be indicated for supply of required publications.  

• 15% discount is allowed for books.

• The Department is publishing a Quarterly Journal Kalvettu. The price of a copy is Rs.10/-
